Kremnické gags / 28—29—30 August 2020

The European Festival of Humor and Satire Kremnica Gags is an original international cultural event with a long tradition. It was established and implemented since 1981 in the beautiful historic town of Kremnica, in the geographical center of Europe. During the last weekend of August, he searches for and then presents inspiring works or performances by artists from all over the world. The aim of the festival is to monitor domestic and foreign works, the result of which is a multi-genre show of an artistic program with an emphasis on humor, satire and cultivated entertainment. Through the Academy of Humor, the Gags award the best art of the given festival year with the prestigious Zlatý gunár award. He also points out current events in society and awards the anti-prize Trafená hus for something that even humorists will be overwhelmed by. The festival also includes the popular exposition of the Gull Museum, as well as the unique Alley of Famous Noses, which houses reliefs of personalities with a sense of humor who are no longer with us.
